Pain Therapy

There are several approaches to help minimize and treat acute and chronic pain.

Compounded topical medications can be a helpful adjunctive tool in addition to low dose naltrexone (LDN). LDN has a long history of helping autoimmune conditions and pain. We use this medication frequently in our office. There are various nutraceutical options that are available as well. We use 3rd party tested, high quality products including peptide therapies.

We enjoy working as a team with other healthcare providers which may include referring you to a trusted physical therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist or massage therapist.

It is important to know where your pain is coming from in order to adequately treat you. This may require ordering imaging or requesting those records if they have already been done. If you have imaging reports, please bring those with you to the appointment.

Local treatments may include Prolozone, PRP or prolotherapy.  We have found IV therapies are often also helpful for pain. This may include medical ozone, UV light therapy or IV magnesium.

We also use Bemer technology to improve circulation and speed healing. In addition to the Bemer, use red laser therapy and a hyperbaric oxygen chamber which can also speed healing and recovery times. Hyperbaric oxygen can be scheduled at our sister clinic, www.modernradianceoregon.com.  We also use microcurrent for pain managements.

Exercise with oxygen therapy (EWOT) can be used to speed recovery.

Trigger point point injections may include using ozone therapy and traditional neural therapy techniques.  Often we find range of motion and pain improves quickly.

If we are not able to improve your health adequately, we can help guide you in referral for surgical evaluations as well.
